FibreStar Limited Warranty

FibreStar Limited Warranty applies to products manufactured by Fibre Star (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“FibreStar”), and original purchaser directly purchase from FibreStar or FibreStar’s authorized retailers, and it is only valid within Malaysia. The warranty period varies according to the mattress models of the purchased product. As we strongly believe in the quality and craftsmanship that are build into every FibreStar mattress and foundation that allow FibreStar to offer a product warranty against manufacturing defects in workmanship and/or materials.

If you observe any manufacturing defects, contact the FibreStar dealer from which you purchased the set. If the dealer cannot be reached or you have moved outside the service area, please contact the FibreStar Customer Support at (604) 582 6605 / (60)12 538 7177 or email to fibrestar@hhrg.com.my. In either case, you must, within the duration of the warranty, provide the purchase receipt including date of purchase, place of purchase, purchase price, model name and size is required to obtain service under this warranty.

If defective in workmanship or material, your FibreStar mattress and/or foundation will be repaired with exclusive of transportation cost, purchaser shall be responsible for all transportation cost. If identical materials are not available at the time of repair or replacement, FibreStar reserves the right to substitute comparable materials or models comparable quality and value that match original piece.

Any and all implied warranties on this product shall not exceed in duration the term of this limited warranty. This warranty begins on the day you purchase the product. If your product is repaired or replaced, this limited warranty will not be renewed or extended. 

Note: The product warranty does not cover the “COMFORT EXPECTATION”

Warranty Coverage

The FibreStar Warranty covers only the following items during normal wear:

FibreStar Limited Warranty

  • Sagging or Normal Body Impressions that measure 38mm(1.5 inch) or greater, only if the mattress has been continuously supported by a matching foundation or adjustable bed base with a proper bed frame sufficient to support the collective weight of the Mattress and foundation.

    [Note: Body Impressions are a normal phenomenon of premium bedding and indicate that the comfort layers are conforming to your body. Impressions of 38mm (1.5 inch) or less on the mattress in all sleeping areas are quite possible and not considered a manufacturing defect.]

  • Any physical flaw in the Mattress that causes the foam material to split or crack, despite normal usage and proper handling.
  • Wires that are loose, broken or protruding through the fabric.
  • If the product is found to be unsanitary.

The FibreStar Warranty does NOT cover items not expressly listed in the “Warranty Coverage” section, such as, but not limited to:

  • Transportation, inspection or removal cost of the product.
  • Normal Body Impressions in the mattress that measures less than 38mm (1.5 inch).
  • Sagging in the mattress that measures less than 38mm (1.5 inch).
  • Physical abuse or damage to the structure and/or cover material, including but not limited to, burns, cuts, tears, liquid damage, or stains; provided, that the defect is caused by such abuse or damage.
  • Any Mattress (whether manufactured by FibreStar or not) sold by resellers who are not authorized retailers.
  • Mattress used in hotels, motels or institutional facilities.
  • Mattress sold “as is”, or floor samples, or bedding purchased from second hand parties, non-retail establishments or received as a promotional item.
    Mattress height or weight.
  • Mattress size that is within the tolerance level or +/-2cm in width and length.
  • Individual comfort preferences of the product such as Firmness, Texture and Feel.
  • Mattress damage due to misuse or abuse such as incorrect bed frame is used without a center support rail and having legs that touch the floor.
  • Bending, standing or jumping on the mattress.
  • A normal increase in softness of the foam pressure-relieving material which does not affect the pressure-relieving qualities of the Mattress.
  • Fabric stains, soiling, fluid penetration, tears or burns.
  • If the product is found to be unsanitary.
  • When product failure is due to causes other than defective workmanship or material.
  • If the purchaser does not present proof of purchase.

Important Information

FibreStar reserves the right to refuse service and invalidate the warranty when the product, even if defective, is in an unsanitary condition (due to blood or bodily fluid stains or soiling, infestation or other abuse), when the product has evidence of damage from liquid penetration, cleaning or the use of cleaning fluids, or whenever the product failure is caused by factors other than defective workmanship or materials. 

Allowing the mattress to be in an unsanitary condition may damage the product and invalidate the warranty. For the health and safety of anyone who would be required to dispose of, or otherwise handle, the product, FibreStar may refuse to inspect such products to assess whether covered by the warranty, in which case, FibreStar reserves the right to deny warranty coverage. 

The use of cleaning fluids may damage the fabric and materials in your mattress. Allowing water or other liquids to penetrate your mattress may damage the layers of upholstery, causing materials to compress. Either of these situation may result in damage that will invalidate your warranty.

FibreStar reserves the right to deny warranty coverage if the product exhibits stains or soiling of unknown origin or nature and it appears to FibreStar, in good faith that the product may be in an unsanitary condition or may have been damaged by liquid penetration or other abuse.

This warranty is given by the FibreStar manufacturer. Please retain a copy of your receipt as proof of purchase to validate warranty coverage. All FibreStar limited warranties are not transferable. 

Please ensure that satin trade labels and/or law labels are intact to identify the bedding and validate the warranty. FibreStar shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages that result through the use of this product.
